Rename a UIControl

Summary

Steps to rename UIControls in ArcGIS version 8.1.

Procedure

1. In ArcMap, click Tools > Customize to bring up the Customization Dialog.
2. Select the Commands tab and scroll to the UIControls category.
3. Left-click the UIControl you want to rename to bring up the name edit box.
4. Type the new name for the control and press Enter.
