Problem: GRIDs Do Not Have a Smooth Display

Description

The display of GRID data in ArcIMS is not smooth. What can I do to change this?

When displaying GRIDs in ArcIMS, the colormap file (*.clr) requires an initial row of zeros.

Add a row of zeros to your colormap file, for example:

# value red green blue
0 0 0 0
1 217 214 145
2 216 213 144
3 218 215 145
. . . etc.

With the initial row of zeros, the GRID's display will be as smooth as possible.
