PROBLEM
Harbor Backup fails after ArcGIS is installed
Description
ArcGIS may cause Harbor Backup 5.2 automated backups to fail. Harbor backup may produce an error message stating hbrnt.exe has failed.
Cause
The ArcGIS installation expands the registry; Harbor Backup 5.2 will not accept the expanded registry.
Solution or Workaround
Contact the Harbor Backup vendor, Tantia Technologies for updated Harbor Backup files.
Run the backup manually excluding the registry.
Note:
The automatic backup does not have an option to skip the registry.
