PROBLEM
Cannot edit annotation stored as a feature class in personal geodatabase
Description
Annotation converted from labels and stored as a feature class in a personal geodatabase cannot be selected in ArcMap, edited, moved, or resized.
Cause
The feature class name begins with a number. For example,123464.
Solution or Workaround
Use ArcCatalog to rename the annotation feature class so the name begins with a character. For example, a123464.
