Text in view does not maintain relative position in layout

Description

The position of view text is altered in the layout.

Cause

This is most likely due to the location of the handles relative to the text.

Solution or Workaround

• Option 1:
  
  1. Create a new point theme.
  2. Add a field to the attribute table and populate the field with text strings.
  
  

  Note:

  3. Label the points with the scaling option.
  4. Detach the label from the point theme.
  5. Check the point theme off and/or delete it from the project.
• Option 2:
  
  1. Select the text graphics in the view making sure there are no blank lines after the text.
  2. If there are blank lines, use the Select Graphic Tool to select the text.
  3. Re-type the text in the window and don't press the Enter key when done.
