What does the SetErrorReporting function do?

Answer

SetErrorReporting facilitates automated testing in ArcView. It suppresses Msgbox.Error and Msgbox.Warning messages, preventing waiting for the user to clear a message box before running the next test. Error messages may be written to a LineFile or TextFile object. See ArcView Help for more information.
