Error: MOPEN: Too Many Files Open

Error Message

This error occurs when copying themes from one view to another:

"MOPEN: too many files open."

Cause

Your system resources are low.

Solution or Workaround

Increase the number of file descriptors in the cshell.
Log in as System administrator and type the following at the OS prompt:

A. To view the hard limit for file descriptors:

limit -h

B. To view number of file descriptors:

limit

C. Now set a number of descriptors that doesn't exceed the hard limit:

limit descriptors <number>

Note:
Use the System requests GetFileDescriptorLimit and SetFileDescriptorLimit if using Avenue.
