Problem: HTML Viewer Has No Map and "Retrieving Data" Displays

Description

When I attempt to view my HTML Viewer web site, the web pages load, but there is no map image and the graphic "Retrieving Data" displays continuously.

Cause

The likely cause is that the Servlet Connector was unable to locate footer.htm and header.htm to dynamically write the response page in PostFrame.

Solution or Workaround

In your web site directory, open ArcIMSparam.js, and check the value of the variable "formFilePath". This value should be the system path of the HTML Viewer web site directory as seen by the web server.

When Designer creates the web page, it updates this value to the path it sees. So if Designer is on different computer from the one that the web server is on, this path must be accessible by the web server.
