Error: ARC is not installed properly
Solution or Workaround
This error occurs when trying to run ARC:
"ARC is not installed properly".
The ARC environment variable has not been set or is not getting recognized in AUTOEXEC.BAT.
1. Type the following at the DOS prompt (use the path to where PC ARC/INFO is installed on the system):

Make sure not to type a space after the word ARCEXE.
3. Check the environment space specified in CONFIG.SYS by the SHELL statement, it should be at least 512 bytes.
SHELL=C:\DOS\COMMAND.COM /E:512 /P
