Error: INSERT: Writing Pass End of File

Solution or Workaround

Doing an INSERT of a line coverage into a Library returns the message "Writing pass end of file". What action should be taken in response to this message?

Cause:

The library .../DATABASE/INDEX coverage has no label points.

Answer:

Use the ARC command CREATELABELS to add labels to the .../DATABASE/INDEX coverage. Also make sure that the -IDs of the index coverage are unique.

Notes:

A library INDEX coverage must have label points and be built for polygons.
