ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9 Patch 1 (Server | Web App)

Summary

This is a general maintenance patch for ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server and ArcGIS Workflow Manager Web App. Esri recommends all customers using Workflow Manager 10.9 apply this patch at your earliest convenience.

Description

Enhancements and Issues addressed with this Patch

  • Workflow Manager Server
  • GIT3936: Workflow Manager Server unable to authenticate some operations with data on a separate server.
  • GIT3945: Error: 'Group does not exist or is inaccessible' when accessing Workflow Manager Web App after a Portal group is deleted that has an existing role assigned to it in Workflow Manager.
  • GIT3960: Unable to query a feature layer extended properties table that uses an integer field as the Link ID field.
  • GIT3960: Unable to query or add data to a feature layer extended properties table that uses a Link ID field with a mixed case field name.

Workflow Manager Web App

  • GIT3485: Filter By buttons on the Manage page do not maintain their selected state when clicked.
  • GIT3972: Error: ‘Invalid Token’ when running Survey123 step where Survey123 and Workflow Manager Web App are on the same machine and Workflow Manager Server is on a separate machine.

 

Windows installation steps:

Workflow Manager Server:

  1. Note: ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9 must be installed before installing this patch.
  2. Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
  3. Download the file to a location other than the Workflow Manager Server installation location.

    Workflow Manager Server file: WorkflowManagerServer_10.9_Patch1.msp
    Checksum (SHA256) BF4B8B1EC88C4231A632E17891F3A6FA75084D764A9FC566EEF0F968449F5EFB
  4. Double-click the MSP file to start the setup process.
  5. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

Workflow Manager Web App:

  1. Note: ArcGIS Workflow Manager Web App 10.9 must be installed before installing this patch.
  2. Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Web App installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
  3. Download the file to a location other than the Workflow Manager installation location.


    Workflow Manager Web App file:
    WMXWebApp_10.9_Patch1.msp
    Checksum (SHA256) 5E939065761119B81E647A9D8FFE56E64B3AC1B9B6802C606FC95FB40C5C4AAB
  4. Double-click the MSP file to start the setup process.
  5.  When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

 

Linux installation steps:

Workflow Manager Server:

  1. Note: ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9 must be installed before installing this patch.

  2. Login as the user that installed ArcGIS Server which is the owner of the arcgis folder.
  3. Download the file to a location other than the Workflow Manager Server installation location.

    Workflow Manager Server file: WorkflowManager-10.9.0-Patch1.tar.gz
    Checksum (SHA256) 889F1061E63AC5E8E5CF22FEFCDA6D9E41D4EBBF84CD73A5EF6CA059E7AB799B
  4. Extract the package:
    % tar -xzvf WorkflowManager-10.9.0-Patch1.tar.gz

  5. Start the installation:
    % ./WorkflowManagerServer/Patch.sh

Workflow Manager Web App:

  1. Complete the following install steps as the ArcGIS Install owner. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.
  2. Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Web App installation location, and that no one is accessing it. 
  3. Download the file to a location other than the Workflow Manager installation location.

    Workflow Manager Web App file: WorkflowManagerWebApp-10.9.0-Patch1.tar.gz
    Checksum (SHA256) 1DFCB9BD24D49D0DCDE61DD53F6EEA467F275AD4EB1FE33F889E5EBCA6790C01
  4. Extract the package:
    % tar -xzvf WorkflowManagerWebApp-10.9.0-Patch1.tar.gz

  5. Start the installation:
    % ./WorkflowManagerWebApp/Patch.sh
