ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.8.1 Patch 1 for (Desktop | Server)

This patch is cumulative of all previously released Patches and Hot Fixes for ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.8.1. Please download and install this patch at your earliest convenience.

Enhancements and Issues Addressed

Desktop

• BUG-000135266:Select And Zoom to Feature Geometry for Gaps in Reviewer Table returns the error, Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
• BUG-000135529: Incorrect layer name appears in the Attributes window when using Select Feature Geometry in the Reviewer table.
  
  

Desktop and Server

• BUG-000133516: ArcMap crashes when running the Geometry on Geometry check tool when using a where clause on a set of selected features.
• BUG-000136098: Duplicate Vertex check is not detecting errors between last and first vertices.

 

Installing this Patch:

 

1. Installation Steps for ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop
   
   1. Make sure you have write access to the installation location.
   2.  Select and download the file:
      
      

      ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop	MD5 Checksum
      ArcGIS1081Patch1DataReviewerDesktop.msp	67E6CB629B0931B4059B1E9771CFEC9F

   3. Double-click the .msp to start the install process.
      
      
   4. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
      
      
   Installation Steps for ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server
   1. Make sure you have write access to the installation location.
   2. Select and download the file:
      
      

      ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server	MD5 Checksum
      ArcGISDataReviewerServer1081Patch1.msp	E014A660DA12184C45337035D1BD705A

   3. Double-click the .msp to start the install process.
   4.  When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
      
   5. Reregister the ArcGIS Data Reviewer extension once the patch is installed
      
   6. Log in to ArcGIS Server Manager by opening your manager URL in a web browser. https://<server name>:6443/arcgis/manager
   7. Click Site on the top panel of the page.
   8. Click Extensions inside the panel on the left side of the page.
   9. Click the pen button to the right of the ESRI.ReviewerServer.soe extension.
   10. Click Browse and navigate to ArcGISDataReviewerServer\Server10.8\Bin and choose the ESRI.ReviewerServer.soe file.
   11. Click Save.
   12. Click Services on the top panel of the page.
   13. Restart all map services that use the Data Reviewer Server capability.
       
       Note: If you have configured ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server in an ArcGIS for Server multi–machine deployment, repeat steps 4–13 for each machine in the site.
