ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 Add Attachments in Collector for ArcGIS(iOS) Patch

Summary

This patch addresses an issue where Collector for ArcGIS (iOS) errors when adding attachments from a hosted feature service running in 10.6.1 enterprise.

Description

Esri® announces the ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 Add Attachments in Collector for ArcGIS(iOS) Patch. This patch addresses an issue where the service incorrectly reports support for adding attachments by upload id. This results in errors when adding attachments using Collector for ArcGIS (iOS). It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

Issues Addressed with this patch

  • BUG-000116972 - Collector for ArcGIS (iOS) fails to submit photo attachments to hosted feature layers in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1.

Note: For pre-existing services, an update must be made to the service configuration in order for the fix to kick in. One way to do this is to disable and then re-enable editing and save via the Enable editing checkbox on the feature layer's item page in Enterprise. This step is not needed for services created after installing the patch

To avoid conflicts this patch also addresses:
  • BUG-000117633 - In 10.6.1 and prior, the message bus platform service may not be initialized correctly in all environments.
  • BUG-000117372 - Cross-site scripting (XSS) in Server Admin api.
  • BUG-000115799 - Vector Tile Layers hosted in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 do not overzoom successfully when viewed in the Map Viewer.
