Description

EsriĀ® announces the ArcGIS Data Store 10.6 Spatial Reference Patch. This patch addresses issues with spatial operations that involve shapes with spatial references that have the same underlying coordinate system but different tolerances or resolutions. In some cases transformation between two spatial references was incorrectly done or an error was returned, resulting in incorrect results from spatial analysis operations. The ArcGIS Data Store 10.6 Spatial Reference Patch is a required patch for Insights for ArcGIS users. It deals specifically with the issue listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

Issues Addressed with this patch

  • BUG-000111102 - Ignore the SRID difference between datasets when the CSIDs are the same for scenarios where certain spatial operators are being used.
  • BUG-000111101 - ST_Intersects returns an incorrect output after using ST_Transform to transform from one coordinate system to another.
