Esri® announces the ArcGIS 10.3.1 for Desktop Package Map For ArcGIS Runtime Patch. This patch addresses the issue where the Package Map tool is not creating map packages supported with ArcGIS Runtime SDK. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

- BUG-000088631 - The Package Map tool fails to create map packages that are supported for use in ArcGIS Runtime Software Development Kit (SDK).
Installing this patch on Windows
Installation Steps:
ArcGIS 10.3.1 for Desktop must be installed before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
- Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
- Double-click ArcGIS-1031-DT-PMFAR-Patch.msp to start the setup process.
NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-1031-DT-PMFAR-Patch.msp
