Introduction
Esri® announces the ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 for Desktop support for AutoCAD version 2013 Patch. This patch will allow ArcGIS 10.1 Service Pack 1 customers to directly read AutoCAD version 2013 format. This addition will provide the ability to read Autodesk 2013 formats as a direct read, but not to write to this format. There are also improved support for Bentley’s Microstation V8 format, which is directly read in ArcGIS. The change has allowed support of additional geometry types like Shared Cells. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.

- NIM085126 - MicroStation V8 DGN file displays incorrectly at 10.1, and many features do not convert to a geodatabase. Display and conversion of the data is correct at 10.0 SP4 and SP5.
