Installation Steps:

Installation Steps for Data Reviewer for Desktop

1. ArcGIS 10.1 Service Pack 1 Patch 6 Data Reviewer for Desktop requires ArcGIS 10.1 Service Pack 1 Data Reviewer for Desktop.
   
   
2. Make sure you have write access to the installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
3. Select and download the file:
   
   

   ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop
   ArcGIS101DataReviewerSP1Patch6Desktop.msp	38.8 MB

4. Double-click the .msp to start the install process.
   
5. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
   
   

Installation Steps for Data Reviewer for Server

1. ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.1 Service Pack 1 Patch 6 for Server requires ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.1 Service Pack 1 for Server.
   
   
2. Make sure you have write access to the installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
3. Select and download the file:
   
   

   ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server
   ArcGIS101DataReviewerSP1Patch6Server.msp	29.2 MB

4. Double-click the .msp to start the install process.
5. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
   
   Reregister the ArcGIS Data Reviewer extension once the patch is installed
   
   
6. Log in to ArcGIS Server Manager by opening your manager URL in a web browser (http://<server name>:6080/arcgis/manager).
7. Click Site on the top panel of the page.
8. Click Extensions inside the panel on the left side of the page.
9. Click the pen button to the right of the ESRI.Production.ReviewerServer.soe extension.
10. Click Browse and navigate to ArcGISDataReviewerServer\Server10.1\Bin and choose the ESRI.Production.ReviewerServer.soe file.
11. Click Save.
12. Click Services on the top panel of the page.
13. Restart all map services that use the Data Reviewer Server capability.
    
    Note: If you have configured ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server in an ArcGIS for Server multi–machine deployment, repeat steps 4–13 for each machine in the site.

To find out what ArcGIS products are currently installed on your machine, download the PatchFinder utility and run it from your local machine.
