This patch addresses cases where replica system versions are not being removed when they should be during a synchronization.
We recommend that all who use geodatabase replication, download and install this Patch at their earliest convenience to ensure
the highest quality experience when working with ArcGIS 9.3 Service Pack 1. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under
Issues Addressed with this Patch.
- NIM039250 - Replica system versions are not removed when synchronizing a 1 way or 2 way replica using connected synchronization.
Description: When synchronizing a replica, system versions are created and removed. When an acknowledgement message is received, system versions that are no longer needed are removed. This patch addresses a case where these versions are not removed when they should be. Leaving these unneeded system versions can have an effect on the compress process.
