Bug ENH-000107233

Synopsis

More detail and error fixed for Infographic Widget in Web App Builder (WAB) Documentation

Additional Information

N/A

Alternate Solution

1. Provide the appropriate/comparable step by step workflow to help illustrate the request.
The documentation needs to explain what snapshot mode and on demand mode are, because there is no explanation of this. The documentation assumes the user knows what this is, and if googled the only explanation is in JavaScript API documentations. Info that needs to be included:

Snap shot mode- enabled for editing
On demand mode- not enabled for editing
And how to go about changing these settings.

Additionally, there are typos in the documentation that suggest that the layer has a date field and not a data field.

2. What is the problem feature X is trying to solve? (i.e. What is the problem/limitation/design choice that is preventing the customer from moving forward?)
Remove the confusion for the user as to date vs. data and to help users understand why their filter by extent is not working and how to fix it,
3. What are the benefits or changes that would result from the enhancement? (i.e. How does making this change help the customer's workflow or business?)
Users will be able to edit their feature layers as editable or not editable and know why this is affecting whether or not they can see the display. This change will also keep people from being confused and wondering if their date field is playing a role in the extent issues they may be having.
