When authenticating with an Active Directory user in Portal for ArcGIS using Python, "Error Code: 499 token required" is returned when attempting to add a layer to the map, and the Active Directory user formatting is AVWORLD\\Publisher.

Use the following format for username authentication: Publisher@AVWORLD.
