Multiline appearance is not available in the ArcGIS Survey123 web form for an Image question with a Count-Selected constraint.

Workaround

1. Add a photo count question which is equal to the number of photos submitted and add a count-selected constraint

• Add an integer question after the image question and name it photo_count.
• Add count-selected(${photo}) to the Calculation field for the integer question.
• Add $(photo_count)<5 to the Constraint field for the integer question.
• Add Yes to the Readonly field for the integer question.

3. Use hints to tell the respondent how many photos to submit.
