In ArcMap 10.6.1, the Find and Find Routes tools initialize slowly and cause 'AppHang' exceptions in severe cases.

Alternate Solution
- Close all running processes related to ArcMap/ArcCatalog.
- Open regedit.
- Navigate to 'Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ESRI\Desktop10.6\FindRoute\UI Settings'. In this directory, a hexbin key called 'RoutingSource' is present. (There is another DWORD registry key called RoutingSourceIndex - leave that alone)
- Export this registry key and place the exported copy in a folder for backup purposes.
- Delete the 'RoutingSource' kexbin key. Put the PC through a reboot cycle.
