Additional Information
A coordinate system for all geodata must always be specified, as much of the system relies on it to calculate good default storage and processing parameters. An unknown coordinate system has an XY tolerance of "0.001", which is extremely coarse if the data is stored in a World Geodetic System (WGS).
Workaround
Define the coordinate system for the XY event layer.
