Bug BUG-000106219

Recent projects are removed from the launch page when upgrading to ArcGIS Pro 2.0 from ArcGIS Pro 1.x.x.

Additional Information

It’s a side effect of the strong naming that was applied for the assemblies. This caused the user.settings folder name to change.

Alternate Solution

1. Use the Browse button and navigate to all of the previous projects.

2. Copy all of the <string><FilePath><string> variables from the user.config file from the <a href="file:C:/Users/" target="_blank">C:\Users\</a><UserProfile>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISPro.exe_Url_<RandomNumbersAndLetters>\<1.x.x.0 folder to the <a href="file:C:/Users/" target="_blank">C:\Users\</a><UserProfile\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISPro.exe_StrongName_<RandomNumbersAndLetters>\ user.config file.
