When switching between basemaps using the Basemap Gallery widget in ArcGIS Online Basic Viewer configurable app, basemaps that do not have the same tiling scheme as the web map's default basemap fails to load.

Additional Information

This is a known limitation with the basemap widget that is reliant on the jsapi. We have gotten several bugs submitted for this behavior and are very aware of it. Currently, there is no fix planned on the current development road map but this will continue to be discussed.

Workaround

Use the tiling scheme of ArcGIS Online/Bing Maps/Google Maps.
