Story Map Tours created from a web map containing a hosted feature service published from a CSV file are recognized as originating from an older version and fail to open with the error, "Sorry, Map Tour loading failed."

Additional Information

Changes to the JSAPI require that a feature services used to define the tour have Attachments enabled when used in Story Map Tour. The documentation will be updated to reflect this new requirement. http://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/faq/ Note: If you author a feature service to define a Map Tour, you need to enable attachments in that feature service even though you won't be using attachments for your images.

Workaround

Create the story map from scratch from the Map Tour Builder (<a href="https://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/index.html?fromScratch" target="_blank">https://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/index.html?fromScratch</a>), and import the CSV file directly.For existing applications that suddenly stop working, re-create the application using the Map Tour Builder, and use ArcGIS Online Assistant to copy the JSON notation in the data section of the new working app, and paste it to the JSON data section of the non-working app.
