When running the Summarize operation on a field that has global IDs included in the output table, the operation is suspended and never completes properly.

Workaround

1. Create a new field. 2. Set the field type as Text with a length of 38. 3. Use the Field Calculator on the new field to add values from the GlobalID field to the new field.
