While installing a database server for the 10.4 pre-release of ArcSDE Workgroup, the following error is returned, "MSVCP120.dll is missing."

Workaround

Install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 to resolve the DLL issue. OR Download the missing DLL separately and manually copy it to the 'C:\Windows\System32' folder. Refer to the following link for more information, http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?msvcp120.
