Queries on a hosted feature service with the Output Statistics parameter specified fail and return the following error message, "Unable to perform query. Please check your parameters", if the Result Record Count parameter is set to a value.

The issue is not to be addressed in the current product plan.

Workaround

Remove the value from the Result Record Count parameter or include the orderBy parameter. 'Order by' is required for pagination.
