Editing the URL protocol of a server service under the properties section of items details does not hold after saving.

Workaround

Change the link to 'htt://....' and save the edit. Append a 'p' or a 'ps' after 'htt' and save again. For example, if the URL is 'https://sampleserver6' 1. Click edit and change the URL to 'htt://sampleserver6' 2. Save and edit again. 3. Add the 'p' so it reads 'http://sampleserver6' Same thing if you want to change from http to https. Need to drop the 'p' save, then add 'ps.'
