Geocoding addresses using the Location well in ArcGIS for Power BI does not display points in the visualization

Description

Addresses that may have previously displayed correctly in an ArcGIS for Power BI visualization are no longer drawing as expected. Using the Location well to geocode addresses returns a message stating "The accuracy of your locations can be improved", but the points do not display at all. 

Cause

In the January 2022 release of Power BI Desktop, Microsoft introduced a new option called the 'Power BI Desktop infrastructure update'.. This has been known to cause several issues with the ArcGIS for Power BI visualization in the Desktop version of Power BI.

Solution or Workaround

The product development team recommends all users disable the option by performing the following:

1. Launch Power BI Desktop
2. Go to File > Options and Settings > Options.
3. Scroll down to Preview features.
4. Turn off/uncheck Power BI Desktop infrastructure update, as shown in the image below.
5. Close and reopen all Power BI Desktop sessions.
