Unable to view layers in the Smart Editor widget template picker in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder

Description

In ArcGIS Web AppBuilder, the Smart Editor widget does not display editable layers in the template picker.

The image below shows the empty template picker in the Smart Editor widget.

Cause

The 'Update Only' check box is checked in the Smart Editor widget. This limits the layer's capability to only updating or modifying existing features, and renders it incapable of creating new features.

Solution or Workaround

Follow the instructions below to view the editable layers in the template picker.

1. Open the Web AppBuilder application in editing mode and click the Widget tab.
2. Click the Configure this widget icon of the Smart Editor widget.
3. Uncheck the Update Only check box in the Layer Settings and click OK.

4. Click Save, and click Launch to launch the application.
