Introducing ArcScan for ArcGIS

ArcScan for ArcGIS, the raster-to-vector conversion extension to ArcInfo, ArcEditor, and ArcView, allows you to scan images of vector maps and convert them into vector-based feature layers such as shapefiles and geodatabase feature classes. This paper introduces the basics of ArcScan.
