ESRI Data & Maps 9.3

This white paper provides information on the ESRI Data & Maps 9.3 data media kit.

This paper describes the data sets, StreetMap North America, StreetMap functionality, and map documents (.mxd). The paper covers what is new and updated, help systems, metadata, group layers (.lyr), Smart Data Compression (SDC) format, and Data Distribution Application (DDA). The paper lists the geographies, layout of the discs, and global elevation tiling scheme.

Please note, the data will work with any version of the software that supports SDC format data sets (ArcGIS 9.0 and up), while the map documents (.mxd) only work with 9.3.
