ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.2 Patch 2 (Windows | Linux)

ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.2 Patch 2 resolves several issues that impact usability of Workflow Manager Server and is recommended for all users of ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server.

Note: This cumulative patch incorporates all previously released ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.2 Patches and Hot Fixes. 

• BUG-000159679 - Unable to create or update extended properties on a job template when internal generated table identifier contains unsupported characters. 

Note: Before installing this patch, stop all running Workflow Manager services. After patch installation, restart the services.

ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server must be installed on your system before you can install a patch.

Step 1: Download the file to a location other than your ArcGIS Workflow Manager installation location.

Patch file: WorkflowManagerServer-11.2-Patch2.msp

Checksum (SHA256): ef855d3e66f573bfb7493fffe5b3eb752b36976f3070644f1cea113ead50b3cd

Step 2: Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is accessing it.

Step 3: Double-click the MSP file to start the setup process.  When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

If the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:

msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\WorkflowManagerServer-11.2-Patch2.msp

Post Installation Steps

Once the installer finishes, if you are encountering BUG-000159679 in your environment, these additional configuration steps are required to address the issue:

Step 1: Access an existing extended properties table on a job template in the web application.

Step 2: Create a new field or delete an existing field in that table.

Step 3: Save the table.

Note: Before installing this patch, stop all running Workflow Manager services. After patch installation, restart the services.

Step 2: Log in as the user that installed ArcGIS Server. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.

Step 3: Make sure you have write access to the ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is using it.

Step 4: Extract the package:  % tar -xvf WorkflowManagerServer-11.2-Patch2.tar.gz

Step 5: If needed, mark the Patch.sh file as executable:  % chmod +x Patch.sh

Step 6: Start the installation process:  % ./WorkflowManagerServer/Patch.sh

Post Installation Steps
