ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.3 Patch 1 (Windows | Linux)

ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.3 Patch 1 resolves several issues that impact usability of Workflow Manager Server and is recommended for all users of ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server. 

• GIT8078: View Layer Related to Extended Properties is missing after Item Upgrade in ArcGIS Workflow Manager.
• GIT8101: Unable to use the Send Web Request step against non-standard domain addresses.
• GIT8151: In the Create Replica Step, Replication Options do not repoint to replica.
• GIT8043: Address failure with checkStatus Endpoint when Workflow Manager Server is federated to Kubernetes.

Note: Before installing this patch, stop all running Workflow Manager services. After patch installation, restart the services.

ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server must be installed on your system before you can install a patch.

Step 1: Download the file to a location other than your ArcGIS Workflow Manager installation location.

Patch file: WorkflowManagerServer-11.3-Patch1.msp

Step 2: Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is accessing it.

Step 3: Double-click the MSP file to start the setup process.  When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

If the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:

msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\WorkflowManagerServer-11.3-Patch1.msp

Note: Before installing this patch, stop all running Workflow Manager services. After patch installation, restart the services.

Step 2: Log in as the user that installed ArcGIS Server. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.

Step 3: Make sure you have write access to the ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is using it.

Step 4: Extract the package:  % tar -xvf WorkflowManagerServer-11.3.Patch1.tar.gz

Step 5: If needed, mark the Patch.sh file as executable:  % chmod +x Patch.sh

Step 6: Start the installation process:  % ./WorkflowManagerServer/Patch.sh

To determine which ArcGIS products are installed, choose the appropriate version of the PatchFinder utility for your environment and run it from your local machine. PatchFinder will list products, hot fixes, and patches installed on your local machine.
