Summary
ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.1 Patch 1 resolves several issues that impact usability of Workflow Manager Server and is recommended for all users of ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server.
Note: This cumulative patch incorporates all previously released ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 11.1 Patches and Hot Fixes.
Issues addressed with this Patch
- BUG-000157113: Jobs get stuck in running state when jobProgress records get out of order.
- BUG-000156945: When the number of records exceeds the max record count for the workflow hosted feature service, workflow diagrams fail to display in the Workflow Diagrams tab in the ArcGIS Workflow Manager web application.
- BUG-000157116: Define location step does not finish properly when adding complicated geometry.
- BUG-000158138: Web Request Federated Token option does not generate correctly scoped tokens.
Installing this patch on Windows
ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server must be installed on your system before you can install a patch.
Step 1: Download the file to a location other than than your ArcGIS Workflow Manager installation location.
Patch file: WorkflowManagerServer-11.1-Patch1.msp
Checksum (SHA256): 9b9dc3a421a8f6f3eb04aabdb67eb3d751111663bb084c07ff9e45c4b3240996
Step 2: Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
Step 3: Double-click the MSP file to start the setup process. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
If the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\WorkflowManagerServer-11.1-Patch1.msp
Installing this patch on Linux
ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server must be installed on your system before you can install a patch.
Step 1: Download the patch file to a location other than than your ArcGIS Workflow Manager installation location.

Step 2: Log in as the user that installed ArcGIS Server. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.
Step 3: Make sure you have write access to the ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is using it.
Step 4: Extract the package: % tar -xvf WorkflowManagerServer-11.1-Patch1.tar.gz
Step 5: If needed, mark the Patch.sh file as executable: % chmod +x Patch.sh
Step 6: Start the installation process: % ./WorkflowManagerServer/Patch.sh
