ArcGIS Server Map and Feature Service Security 2023 Update 1 Patch

Esri announces the ArcGIS Server Map and Feature Service Security 2023 Update 1 Patch. This security patch includes security and non-security related fixes. Esri recommends that all customers using ArcGIS Enterprise 11.0, 10.9.1, and 10.8.1 apply this patch. Refer to the section below Issues Addressed with this Patch for the list of issues resolved by these patches.

A separate patch named ArcGIS Server Security 2023 Update 1 is also available.

For users of ArcGIS Server print services, the 10.9.1 and 10.8.1 ArcGIS Server Map and Feature Service Security 2023 Update 1 Patches address BUG-000157755 which is a failure in print services when a request references both secured and non-secured services. A resolution for BUG-000157755 is also available for version 11.1 in the  ArcGIS Server 11.1 Print Service Patch.

Important Note November 20, 2023: A corrected version of this patch is available to address “BUG-000161894 - Unable to register a DB2 enterprise geodatabase as a data store or validate an existing DB2 data store in ArcGIS Server after installing the ArcGIS Server Map and Feature Service Security 2023 Update 1 Patch for versions 10.8.1 or 10.9.1.” This defect only affected versions 10.8.1 and 10.9.1. Please download and install the new setup. It is not necessary to uninstall the initial patch, the new setup will install and replace the initial patch. In the Patch Notification Tool, the new setup is listed with a B suffix on the name.

Important Note August 29, 2023: A corrected setup is available for the Windows version of ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 Map and Feature Service Security 2023 Update 1 Patch to resolve failures with the Patch Notification tool when using the Install All Patches or Install All Security Patches options, as well as a failure when installing the patch in silent mode. If you have already installed the ArcGIS Server 10.9.1 Map and Feature Service Security 2023 Update 1 Patch, there is no need to also install this new setup. The issue that was resolved is described in BUG-000160937. The Linux setup was not affected.
