ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9.1 Patch 2

Summary

ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9.1 Patch 2 resolves an issue where the Run GP Service step may not run properly in a highly available environment and also resolves an issue where attachments can be added to a job that the user does not have access to from the REST API. This patch is recommended for all users of ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server.

Description

Issues addressed with this Patch

  • BUG-000150060: GP Service step with visible option checked on fails in workflow manager with multi machine site setup.
  • GIT5157: REST addJobAttachment and addLinkedAttachment remain enabled when the job template is not shared with the user.

 

Windows installation steps:

  1. Note: ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9.1 must be installed before installing this patch.

  2. Make sure you have write access to the Workflow Manager Server installation location, and that no one is accessing it.
  3. Download the file to a location other than the Workflow Manager Server installation location.
    Workflow Manager Server file: WorkflowManagerServer_10.9.1_Patch2.msp
    Checksum (SHA256) 2f2ef07a9def92f033ca4d67ac3b2a284ea31804cccb6b21ec9fcf46de04a331

  4. Double-click the MSP file to start the setup process.
  5. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.

 

Linux installation steps:

  1. Note: ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server 10.9.1 must be installed before installing this patch.

  2. Login as the user that installed ArcGIS Server which is the owner of the arcgis folder.
  3. Download the file to a location other than the Workflow Manager Server installation location.
    Workflow Manager Server file: WorkflowManager-10.9.1-Patch2.tar.gz
    Checksum (SHA256) a40e035620f02b15757cb0f2711ada0bf9b528548cd2cd431188ac57738f6772

  4. Extract the package:
    % tar -xzvf WorkflowManager-10.9.1-Patch2.tar.gz
  5. Start the installation:
    % ./WorkflowManagerServer/Patch.sh
