Published: July 14, 2021

Summary

This patch installs the correct version of the spatial type used by the relational data store on Linux.

Description

EsriĀ® announces the ArcGIS Data Store 10.9 PostgreSQL ST_Geometry Patch. This patch installs the correct version of the spatial type used by the relational data store on Linux. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

Important Note: There is an optional patch named ArcGIS Server 10.9 PostgreSQL ST_Geometry Patch which can be applied to the Server component of ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9. You will only need to apply the patch to one computer and software package. The ST_Geometry.SO file will then need to be moved from the Database Support folder to the PostgreSQL server on Linux.
