ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.8.1 Patch 2 for (Desktop | Server)

This patch is cumulative of all previously released Patches and Hot Fixes for ArcGIS Data Reviewer 10.8.1. Please download and install this patch at your earliest convenience.

Enhancements and Issues Addressed

• BUG-000135731: Data Reviewer Duplicate Geometry check: May crash when running check on certain datasets.
• ENH-000135878: Data Reviewer: Clarify documentation for Flash Feature tool.

• BUG-000135053: Data Reviewer Valency check: May crash when running check on full database.
• BUG-000132256: Data Reviewer Duplicate Geometry check: Batch jobs run significantly slower after upgrading from 10.2.1.
• BUG-000135104: Data Reviewer Geometry on Geometry check: May crash when running check on certain datasets.

Installing this Patch:

 

Installation Steps for ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop

1. Make sure you have write access to the installation location.
2. Select and download the file:
   
   

   ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Desktop	MD5 Checksum
   ArcGIS1081Patch2DataReviewerDesktop.msp	cb8605f0eb81cd0ec5963b45ad56c9fc

3. Double-click the .msp to start the install process.
   
   
4. When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
   
   

Installation Steps for ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server

1. Make sure you have write access to the installation location. 
2. Select and download the file:
   
   

   ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server	MD5 Checksum
   ArcGISDataReviewerServer1081Patch2.msp	6b95e2288ca01ca2636407625a84da0b

3. Double-click the .msp to start the install process.
4.  When Setup starts, follow the instructions on your screen.
   
   

Reregister the ArcGIS Data Reviewer extension once the patch is installed

1. Log in to ArcGIS Server Manager by opening your manager URL in a web browser. https://<server name>:6443/arcgis/manager
2. Click Site on the top panel of the page.
3.  Click Extensions inside the panel on the left side of the page.
4.  Click the pen button to the right of the ESRI.ReviewerServer.soe extension.
5.  Click Browse and navigate to ArcGISDataReviewerServer\Server10.8\Bin and choose the ESRI.ReviewerServer.soe file.
6.  Click Save.
7.  Click Services on the top panel of the page.
8.  Restart all map services that use the Data Reviewer Server capability.

Note: If you have configured ArcGIS Data Reviewer for Server in an ArcGIS for Server multi–machine deployment, repeat steps 4–13 for each machine in the site.
