ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 CSV and Excel File Publishing Patch

Published: August 22, 2019

Summary

This patch resolves an issue preventing users from overwriting existing hosted tables published from CSV or Excel files.

Description

EsriĀ® announces the ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 CSV and Excel File Publishing Patch. This patch resolves an issue when overwriting existing hosted tables published from CSV or Excel files within the ArcGIS Enterprise portal. Before installing this patch overwriting such hosted tables may fail with the error message, "Only CSVs with coordinates can be overwritten". The issue addressed by this patch is only encountered when overwriting a table, and not when using the file as input coordinates to overwrite features. This patch must be installed on all machines of the hosting server site of your ArcGIS Enterprise deployment. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

Issues Addressed with this patch

  • BUG-000122400 - Overwriting a table published from a CSV file fails with the error message, "Only CSVs with coordinates can be overwritten."
