Summary
This patch addresses a few important quality issues when using Ortho Maker with ArcGIS Enterprise. Please note that ArcGIS (Desktop, Server) 10.6.1 Raster Patch is a required companion for this patch.
Description
Esri® announces the Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 Ortho Maker Quality Improvement Patch. This patch addresses a few important quality issues when Ortho Maker with ArcGIS Enterprise. It includes fixes and improvements when creating image collections with images from certain DJI drones, applying Ground Control Points, map visualization, and more. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.
Please note ArcGIS (Desktop, Server) 10.6.1 Raster Patch is required to work with this patch.
Issues Addressed with this patch
- BUG-000117726 - Ground Control Points in Ortho Maker show up at wrong locations after they are applied to data.
- BUG-000117725 - Toggling the basemap in Ortho Maker toggles another layer despite layer's option.
- BUG-000117724 - Unable to add layer from a different base URL to the map in Ortho Maker.
- BUG-000117723 - Old ortho mapping products are not reset after user re-run the block adjustment.
- BUG-000117722 - Layer contrast may revert to previous value after panning happens on map.
- BUG-000117720 - Ortho Maker may see failure when creating image collection with images from certain DJI drone.
- BUG-000117719 - In Ortho Maker, map panning with flight locations on map would often trigger popup.
- BUG-000117718 - When creating a new ortho mapping project with different dataset and camera models, Ortho Maker may show that camera information is missing.
- BUG-000117643 - Incorrect flight height from drone imagery will cause incorrect image footprints in Ortho Maker.
Installing this patch on Windows
Installation Steps:
Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 must be installed before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 Checksum (Md5) ArcGIS-1061-PFA-OMQI-Patch.msp AB29CB7A06220AC9995547CB8FFEE57D - Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
- Double-click ArcGIS-1061-PFA-OMQI-Patch.msp to start the setup process.
NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-1061-PFA-OMQI-Patch.msp
Installing this patch on Linux
Installation Steps:
Complete the following install steps as the ArcGIS Install owner. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.
Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 must be installed before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 Checksum (Md5) ArcGIS-1061-PFA-OMQI-Patch-linux.tar B28C37D7CE73D3F860748A49333E1407 - Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location, and that no one is using ArcGIS.
- Extract the specified tar file by typing:
% tar -xvf ArcGIS-1061-PFA-OMQI-Patch-linux.tar
- Start the installation by typing:
% ./applypatch
This will start the dialog for the menu-driven installation procedure. Default selections are noted in parentheses ( ). To quit the installation procedure, type 'q' at any time.
Uninstalling this patch on Windows
- To uninstall this patch on Windows, open the Windows Control Panel and navigate to installed programs. Make sure that "View installed updates" (upper left side of the Programs and Features dialog) is active. Select the patch name from the programs list and click Uninstall to remove the patch.
Uninstalling this patch on Linux
- To remove this patch, navigate to the /tmp directory and run the following script as the ArcGIS Install owner:
./patchremove
Notes: You can only remove the patch that was installed most recently.
