Description

Esri® announces the ArcGIS (Desktop, Server) 10.6.1 Raster Patch. This patch addresses some critical quality issues while using distributed raster analytics and Ortho Maker app in ArcGIS Enterprise. It deals specifically with the issue listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.

Issues Addressed with this patch

  • BUG-000116910 - parallel compute mosaic dataset statistics in server context could fail to compute for some items.
  • BUG-000116912 - [wcs] when publish wcs to arcgis server, the coverage name is not correct in wcs 2.0.1 getcapabilities call, if not set it to dataset's name.
  • BUG-000116916 - Build seamlines with Disparity method for mosaic dataset of scanned images produce wrong result.
  • BUG-000114964 - Switching to JPEG compression causes nodata to display as black rather than transparent.
  • BUG-000116915 - compute histogram and compute statistics and histogram fails with raster rendering service
  • BUG-000116917 - Generate Raster tool using classify function didn't write attribute table if the output is CRF in cloud store.
  • BUG-000116909 - Rasters failed to load when the dataframe coordinate system is set as GCS WGS 1984.
  • BUG-000115186 - An error, "ERROR 999999: Error executing function. No raster store is configurated. Not running inside a server process. Failed to execute (CopyRaster).'' is returned when importing a raster in an enterprise geodatabase.

Installing this patch on Windows

Installation Steps

ArcGIS Desktop, or Server 10.6.1 must be installed before installing this patch.

  1. Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.

  2. Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
  3. Double-click ArcGIS-1061-<Product>-RP-Patch.msp to start the setup process.

    NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:

    msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-1061-<Product>-RP-Patch.msp

 

Installing this patch on Linux

Installation Steps:

Complete the following install steps as the ArcGIS Install owner. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.

ArcGIS Server 10.6.1 must be installed before installing this patch.

  1. Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.

         ArcGIS Server ArcGIS-1061-S-R-Patch-linux.tar 923B9E196D9D07C8EBE958BA1CDA1763
         

  2. Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location, and that no one is using ArcGIS.
  3. Extract the specified tar file by typing:

    % tar -xvf ArcGIS-1061-S-RP-Patch-lx.tar
  4. Start the installation by typing:

    % ./applypatch

    This will start the dialog for the menu-driven installation procedure. Default selections are noted in parentheses ( ). To quit the installation procedure, type 'q' at any time.
