ArcGIS Server 10.5 Sync Upload Patch

Published: May 17, 2017

Summary

In ArcGIS 10.5, you can publish sync enabled feature layers from your enterprise geodatabase to a federated server and share with other users in your ArcGIS Enterprise. Other users can then take data offline using clients like Collector for ArcGIS. In this scenario, edits made while offline cannot be uploaded to the feature layer from the client via sync. This patch addresses the issue such that offline edits can be synced in these scenarios.

Description

Esri® announces the ArcGIS Server 10.5 Sync Upload Patch. This patch addresses a case where offline edits are not synced if the feature layer was taken offline by a user other than the data owner or admin. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.
