Description
Esri® announces the ArcGIS Server 10.5 Raster Analysis Amazon S3 Storage Patch. This patch addresses a data corruption issue when the Raster Analysis services write cloud raster format (CRF) image to the Amazon S3 cloud storage. The resulting image may have unwanted nodata pixels. This patch deals specifically with the issue listed below under Issues Addressed with this patch.
Issues Addressed with this patch
- BUG-000103115 - Writing output cloud raster format (CRF) to Amazon S3 using raster analysis services from a multi-server configuration leaves nodata holes.
Installing this patch on Windows
Installation Steps:
ArcGIS Server 10.5 must be installed before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
ArcGIS Server 10.5 Checksum (Md5) ArcGIS Server ArcGIS-105-S-RAASS-Patch.msp D262BC46D82AA68EEFF383D2F50754AB
- Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location.
- Double-click ArcGIS-105-S-RAASS-Patch.msp to start the setup process.
NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-105-S-RAASS-Patch.msp
Installing this patch on Linux
Installation Steps:
Complete the following install steps as the ArcGIS Install owner. The Install owner is the owner of the arcgis folder.
ArcGIS Server 10.5 must be installed before installing this patch.
- Download the appropriate file to a location other than your ArcGIS installation location.
ArcGIS Server 10.5 Checksum (Md5) ArcGIS Server ArcGIS-105-S-RAASS-Patch-linux.tar DEC30AB86F15FB2907DAE4B3B6507BB7
- Make sure you have write access to your ArcGIS installation location, and that no one is using ArcGIS.
- Extract the specified tar file by typing:
% tar -xvf ArcGIS-105-S-RAASS-Patch-linux.tar
Start the installation by typing:
% ./applypatch
This will start the dialog for the menu-driven installation procedure. Default selections are noted in parentheses ( ). To quit the installation procedure, type 'q' at any time.
