ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop Historical Traffic Settings Patch

Installing this patch will enable the ‘Time of Day’ parameter for selection when Drive Time Algorithm is set to ‘ArcGIS Online API.’ This parameter can be found within the  ‘Drive Time’ tab of Business Analyst ‘Preferences.’

If this parameter is employed, the output polygon will correctly vary in shape and size, as the ‘Time of Day’ parameter affects the underlying distance traveled.

This patch is cumulative of previous patches and becomes obsolete at the 10.6 release.

We recommend all Business Analyst Desktop 10.5 and 10.5.1 customers download and install this patch to ensure the highest quality experience.

We recommend that you install this patch to fix a Drive Time 'Preferences' parameter issue, which occurs only when online data is in use for Business Analyst Desktop 10.5 and 10.5.1. Installing this patch on Windows

 

Installation Steps:

ArcGIS Business Analyst Desktop must be installed before installing this patch.

1. Download the appropriate file(s) for your environment to a location other than your installation location.

2. Make sure you have write access to your installation location.
3. Double-click ArcGIS-1051-<Product>-HTS-Patch.msp to start the setup process.
   NOTE: If double clicking on the MSP file does not start the setup installation, you can start the setup installation manually by using the following command:
   msiexec.exe /p [location of Patch]\ArcGIS-1051-<Product>-HTS-Patch.msp
