View to ArcXML Extension

This ArcView 3.x extension (view2axl.avx) takes themes in an ArcView View and writes information on these themes into an ArcXML format. The output file is suitable to use as input to an ArcIMS service. During the conversion process, points will be symbolized as a circle, lines will be symbolized as a solid line, and polygons will always have a solid fill.

Windows users: Download the view2axl.avx file and copy it to your ArcView EXT32 directory.
UNIX users: Download the view2axl.avx file and copy it to your ArcView EXT directory.

The extension is named "VIEW 2 AXL conversion" in the Extensions dialog box in ArcView 3.x.

This extension was created with the US locale. If you are in another locale, you will want to update the extension to match your locale.

If you want to modify this extension, you can download the ArcView project file that was used to create this extension (view2axl.apr).

If you have trouble downloading the individual files, download the ZIP file and unzip it - it contains both the .avx and the .apr files.
