StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS North America TomTom 2013 Release 3 US Locators 10.1 SP1 Patch
Esri® announces the StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS North America TomTom 2013 Release 3 US Locators 10.1 SP1 Patch. This patch corrects a potential problem with certain addresses geocoding to the wrong locations when performing multi-line batch geocoding in ArcGIS 10.1 SP1. We recommend that all SMP North America TomTom 2013 Release 3 users who geocode with the US locators using ArcGIS 10.1 SP1 download and install this patch. It deals specifically with the issues listed below under Issues Addressed with this Patch.
- Description: A new function was added to the US locators for use in ArcGIS 10.2 that, depending on the addresses and performance of the machine, could potentially geocode some addresses to the wrong locations when doing multi-line batch geocoding in 10.1 SP1. This patch removes the new function from the necessary locator files for use in ArcGIS 10.1 SP1.
The US locators from StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS North America TomTom 2013 Release 3 must be installed before you can install this Patch.
- Make sure you have write access to the Locators folder that was copied to your hard drive from the StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS North America TomTom 2013 Release 3 DVDs 6-8, and that no one is accessing the files in this folder.
- Download SMP_NATT_2013.3_US_locators.zip to a location other than your installation location.
- Extract the new files from SMP_NATT_2013.3_US_locators.zip to the Locators folder on your hard drive, replacing the previous versions of the files.
