ArcWeb Explorer 4.0 Flex API – 11/16/07

This is an explanation of the release of ArcWeb Explorer v4. Note: There are no downloads or updates necessary on your part; these changes are already on the ESRI servers.

ArcWeb Explorer v4 launches the fourth generation of ArcWeb Services. Version 4 builds on the success of the three earlier generations of ArcWeb Services—v1, v2, and v2006; with improved server-side performance, stability, and functionality.

The ArcWeb Explorer Flex v4 API is the first of several v4 APIs planned for release. ArcWeb Explorer Flex includes access to the JavaScript to Flex Bridge; the ArcWeb Explorer core; the widgets framework; the application framework (OSGi); and the ArcIMS map services, ArcGIS map services, and GeoRSS extensions.
